¡FELICITACIONES! Su película ya forma parte de la 4º edición del  Kursaal Film Festival de San Sebastián (KFFSS), que en pocos días exhibirá las 178 películas seleccionadas al público del 15 de septiembre al 8 de octubre.

​

Somos un festival de cineastas cuyo objetivo es “poner en valor el talento de los cineastas”, y por eso usamos la modalidad de exhibición en streaming para liberarnos de las limitaciones de tiempo y espacio de los festivales físicos, pudiendo acoger muchísimas más películas y alcanzar a más espectadores cada año ( 8.045 espectadores en el año 2022 ).

Otro de nuestros valores es mantener una comunicación directa y fluida con todos los participantes para atender en todo lo que sea necesario y así conseguir una relación de proximidad mucho mayor.

Ahora en esta comunicación te hemos preparado la siguiente información:

1/.- LAURELES
Adjuntados al email que se le ha enviado con esta notificación dispone de dos laureles oficiales acreditativos, en blanco y negro  con fondo transparente, para que pueda incorporarlos donde mejor considere.

2/.- JURADO
Este año el jurado del festival ha crecido en número de miembros para poder atender mejor al aumento de premios que hemos incorporado al festival. Puedes ver la composición del jurado en  https://www.kursaalffss.com/jury23

3/.- RECOMENDACIONES DE SEGURIDAD y PRIVACIDAD  CON YOUTUBE & VIMEO
Para la difusión de las películas en streaming nosotros no descargamos la película física, evitando así errores y distorsiones en el visionado, pero si usamos al dirección url de la película, de youtube (en oculto) y vimeo(con clave), para incrustar el video dentro de nuestra plataforma de festival. De este modo conseguimos preservar la confidencialidad de vuestra dirección url.

​

Pero… MUY IMPORTANTE. Hemos detectado que en algunos de vuestros videos no se ha eliminado de la configuración de la barra de herramientas de visionado la opción de “Ver dentro de Youtube / Vimeo” poniendo en riesgo su privacidad.  Si no se elimina esta opción se está exponiendo voluntariamente al público la url de su película e incluso las opciones de descarga en algunos casos. Por favor elimine esta opción sin cambiar la configuración de inserción.­

4/.- ¿CÓMO COMPARTIR Y DIFUNDIR SU PELÍCULA?

Para conseguir una mejor difusión de su película por redes sociales le recomendamos subir una foto a su cuenta en Instagram con nuestra cuenta del festival @kursaal.film.festival en el texto o etiqueta, nos dará un aviso y podremos copiarla para incorporarla a la difusión desde dentro del festival. Recomendamos escoger un fotograma o cartel de su película en formato 1:1 que lleve incorporado el titulo de la película y el laurel oficial del KFFSS.

​

Una vez iniciado el festival se puede acceder a la ficha de cada película y hacer un copiado-recorte de la pantalla y distribuir con la url directa a la película por redes sociales o email. Os adjunto un ejemplo que he preparado para que se vea como queda. Me he puesto de ejemplo pero tranquilos que no participo en el festival 😉.

5/.- GALA DE CLAUSURA
La Gala de Clausura se celebrará el sábado día 7 de octubre para la entrega de premios y se proyectarán las películas ganadoras de los directores asistentes, a los que se ofrecerá dos invitaciones para la cena que se realizará a continuación. La organización se pondrá en contacto en privado con los ganadores de premios por si desean asistir a la gala.

6/.- CERTIFICADO
Los certificados estarán disponibles para descargar a partir del 9 de octubre. Se enviará una comunicación con las instrucciones.

​

En nombre del todo el Equipo del KFFSS, y en el mío propio, daros las gracias por vuestra participación y haber demostrado una vez más la enorme cantidad de talentos artísticos en todos los roles que cubre una producción cinematográfica. Dear Filmmaker:

CONGRATULATIONS! His film is already part of the 4th edition of the Kursaal Film Festival of San Sebastián (KFFSS), which in a few days will show the 178 selected films to the public from September 15 to October 8.

We are a festival of filmmakers whose objective is "to value the talent of filmmakers", and for this reason we use the streaming modality to free ourselves from the limitations of time and space of physical festivals, being able to host many more films and reach to more viewers each year (8,045 viewers in the year 2022).

Another of our values is to maintain direct and fluid communication with all the participants to attend to everything that is necessary and thus achieve a much greater relationship of proximity.

1/.- LAURELS
Attached to the email that has been sent to you with this notification are two official accrediting laurels, in black and white with a transparent background, so that you can incorporate them where you consider best.

2/.- JURY
This year the festival jury has grown in number of members in order to better serve the increase in prizes that we have incorporated into the festival. You can see the composition of the jury at https://www.kursaalffss.com/jury23

3/.- SECURITY AND PRIVACY RECOMMENDATIONS WITH YOUTUBE & VIMEO
For streaming movies we do not download the physical movie, thus avoiding errors and distortions in viewing, but we do use the url of the movie, from youtube (hidden) and vimeo (with password), to embed the video within our festival platform. In this way we manage to preserve the confidentiality of your url address.

​

But... VERY IMPORTANT. We have detected that in some of your videos the option to “View within Youtube / Vimeo” has not been removed from the viewing toolbar configuration, putting your privacy at risk. If this option is not removed, you are voluntarily exposing the url of your movie to the public and even the download options in some cases. Please remove this option without changing the embed settings.

4/.- HOW TO SHARE AND DISSEMINATE YOUR FILM?
To get a better diffusion of your film through social networks, we recommend uploading a photo to your Instagram account with our festival account @kursaal.film.festival in the text or label, it will give us a notice and we can copy it to incorporate it into the diffusion from within the festival. We recommend choosing a frame or poster of your film in 1:1 format that incorporates the title of the film and the official KFFSS laurel.

Once the festival has started, you can access the file of each film and make a copy-clipping of the screen and distribute with the direct url to the film through social networks or email. I am attaching an example that I have prepared so that you can see how it looks. I've set myself an example but don't worry, I'm not participating in the festival 😉.

5/.- CLOSING GALA
The Closing Gala will be held on Saturday, October 7 for the awards ceremony and the winning films of the assistant directors will be screened, who will be offered two invitations to the dinner that will follow. The organization will contact the prize winners privately in case they wish to attend the gala.

6/.- CERTIFICATE
Certificates will be available to download starting October 9. A communication will be sent with the instructions.

​
